GR-MEGA firmware 1.5.3 release notes A bugfix release, with minor feature additions. Date: 02 January 2026 new features: - Attack and release for input envelope follower. [Shift] + [ADSR Curve] to activate. Then use A and R sliders. - More feel/help bubbles. - Polyscan visualization. - Experimental record feedback: mix resampling and audio input. Use [Shift] + Env amount fader while recording. changes: - Ability to record with the slice sound engine directly. The GR-MEGA switches to granular for the duration of the recording session to allow scrolling record, and resampling with full position control. Afterwards it switches back to slice engine. - #1259 Individual Patch loads (GR-MEGA and GR-1) are no longer seen as permanent. Pressing the undo button or pressing the preset button will undo the load and return to the original patch. bugfixes: - #1689 Copy paste causes modifications to destination preset will also be present in source preset! Introduced in 1.5.0. This effectively crippled copypaste. - #1194 unimplemented midi cc's finally implemented: glide, glide always, window type, arp mode, scan mode, sampling dry, sampling wet. - Grain stealing fixed for grain rates around 100 Hz. - #1683 playing notes in Scan key trigger = Poly and then Scan key trigger = Off caused drifting scan positions. - Fixed [Shift] + [Enter] in menu screens. This closed off the access to the factory reset function! Bug introduced in 1.5.2. - Loading project refreshed preset LEDs, but not the internal state.
