GR-1 Firmware 2.6.0 - Release date: 12 Jan 2022

New features:

- Input level monitoring, including VU meter, and a menu slider to tweak this level.
- Multi-octave voice sliders. The GR-1 is now even more powerful standalone, and this can also be used in conjunction with MIDI.
- CC2CV : CV signal emulation with MIDI! Mod wheel (CC1) controls CV1, and CC36 controls CV2. Use menu toggle to enable. 
- File chooser now shows types of folders: SAMPLE, PATCH, PERFORMANCE

Changes:

- ! File chooser now always requires load button to load things. Select push is used to enter folders. This is a lot more hands-on, instead of deciding which type of data you want to load beforehand.. you now just choose what you find (which is all labeled now). 
- File chooser now allows you to load anything in any mode (SAMPLE, PATCH or PERFORMANCE).
- .grp and .grm files are hidden, because their containing folders are now indicated as being PATCH or PERFORMANCE.
- Removed velocity curve selection from menu: now always square root.
- Removed pile-up toggle from menu. Now always on.
- Removed direct chord mode toggles option from menu. Now always in toggle mode.

Bug fixes:

- Performance save in usb root blocked access to other performances
- MIDI channel OFF still listened to MPE
- Slider can now also be used to control Performance menu -> ADSR slider mode 
- Aux LFO offset was broken
- Recording now stops when loading in new sample. 

Known issues:

- Clicks in distortion FX (similar to snare instrument pick up noise) when multiple voices triggering/releasing..
- No visual feedback on a bunch of CC's.
- Freeze on first USB plug after firmware update (a very old one).
